Napoli, Italy’s fastest half marathon. In recent years, the Coelmo Napoli City Half Marathon has written some of the most important chapters in Italian athletics history: after the first men’s national record set here in 2022, Yeman Crippa lowered his own mark again in 2026, running 59:01, while Napoli also remains home to the Italian women’s record, set by Sofiia Yaremchuk in 2024. This makes the race the only half marathon in Italy to hold both national records for the distance at the same time. On a fast, smooth and scenic course, between the Mediterranean, Mount Vesuvius and some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, every runner can chase their own goal: from a personal best to the pleasure of enjoying one of the most fascinating race experiences in Italy.
